Futures On Air

On Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November 2020 we’re pleased to be sharing material from the Futures On Air project. Stellaria Media has made a series of programmes, created together with four community radio stations alongside researchers from the University of Exeter, Bath University & Plymouth University.

Community Radio is a space for people to make radio in their own way, talk about meaningful issues in their lives and connect with others. Members of Bath Radio, Phonic FM (Exeter), Soundart Radio (Totnes) and Radio St Austell Bay have identified topics that are important to them and have been paired up with exciting university researchers working in those areas. A variety of approaches is used to listen, respond and create together.

The programmes will be broadcast on Bath Radio, Soundart Radio (Totnes), Radio St Austell Bay and Devonstream in a celebratory radio festival on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November.
